I was just wondering.
I asked myself this question earlier today and all I could think up for a cool and unusual date was a picnic in the summer time.
So have any ideas for a cheap and fun date? I don't mean to categorize myself as someone who's not willing to pay a lot of money when i say "cheap" I just don't want to spend 200$ bucks on a date. Money is money and once it's gone, it's gone.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Bookstore/coffeeshop. Farmer's market. Antique/junk stores. Hike in the wilderness. Bicycling. High school football game or a high school play. Help Habitat for Humanity. Make a rather fancy meal or dessert at home, both people with different duties. Use a recipe that neither of you have tried before (suggestion-Chicken Kiev or Crepes Suzette) and do it all from scratch. Plant a vegetable garden together, make the trip to the nursery part of the date.

All these require some more interaction/conversation than watching a movie together, therefore facilitates getting to know the other person better, which, after all, is the purpose of dating.

haha Cheap dates? I'm your gal w/those answers! Dollar movies, festivals around town, walking around @ the mall and eating lunch/dinner @ the food court. Renting a movie and making dinner together at home. A drive around town and THEN having a picnic. Go to a Sports game whether it be a little league game, pro sports game, amatuer game, or a college game. Playing a game of sports @ the park. Maybe having an arts and crafts night together....

those are some of my experiences w/out costing alot on his and my part.

this is really cheap...but let me tell you...I HAD FUN....
my bf brought me to a swamp area...we caught tadpoles, crayfish and little fishes...then we rollerblade to the other side of the beach where there was a hot dog stand..got food for less than 8 bucks...went hiking to walk off the food...after we played pool..not that expensive...went to a bar later that night had a few drinks and sang....sounds boring but really fun indeed when both are into it...
good luck

My wedding ceremony is going to be somewhat unusual without being that available. first of all, no travelers, this is exceedingly unusual. we don't prefer to entertain, we purely prefer to take exhilaration in our love and the buzz of having married! purely us, our officiant and a couple of employed witnesses. Our reception would be dinner for 2 at an upscale eating place. total value would be below $3 hundred. we are having an extremely non secular officiant, a chum and reverend, carry out an earthly ceremony as we are each and each atheists. i think of he's quite petrified of slipping up because of the fact he's familiar with we are strongly against any point out of God on our day. i would be wearing a white wedding ceremony gown, yet i would be including unique touches and making it mine...there'll be pink. My FH is unsure, yet he seems to be leaning in the direction of denims and a tee. it is going to likely be somewhat unusual that i'll be dressed up and he would be dressed down. we are able to start our honeymoon camping out and end it in a fancy lodge. Our honeymoon is going to be very flow-with-the flow. we would prefer to do sightseeing and diverse activities and notice shows, do stuff, flow procuring, get a couples rub down, etc; we actually purely prefer it to be relaxing and exciting and a memorable bonding adventure. there'll be DIY. i'm pondering making my own gown, i think of which would be very cool, inspite of the undeniable fact that this is an argument of regardless of if i'm beneficial in my ability to convey my dream to existence...we will see. Our flora would be dyed paper roses because of the fact i detect them so beautiful and because they are going to final jointly as real roses will wither and die. i would be wearing a large fascinator, you could nicely make particular of it. My shoes will supply me a good 5 inches so I optimistically do no longer ought to get on my tippy feet to kiss the groom. Our processional music could be the Smashing Pumpkins' this night this night. we don't care approximately each and every thing being desirable, regardless of is going down, it is going to likely be desirable. If it rains, this is an advantage, i admire a good hurricane. there'll be an area of punk rock/grunge/determination. in case you could image stylish meets grunge, i think of that's what we are going for....it is going to likely be very us.
