tell your sister to sit down with your dad, tell him that she knows that he wants her to get an abortion, but she doesnt want that. She knows she was wrong, and she wants to take responsibility for her actions, etc. Good luck!

THere are support groups for young pregnant women your doctor or the yellow pages will help you fing thosse. Its not her daddies choice. Many young women who are pushed or have had an abortion of their own accord suffer severe mental depression afterward. I know of a few this happened to. How will her daddy feel about that ruined life? The proceedure is terrible and cold baby is ripped apart into little pieces inside of the mama and then vacuum sucked out and put back togather like pieces of a puzzle to make sure none are left inside to get mama sick. Girls have a hard time living with themselves after experiencing that.
Adoption is by far the better choice. Alot of loving families out htere will take good care of the baby.
Give both mama adn baby a chance at life.

I agree with the first answer. She needs to sit him down, like a grown adult would and tell him her intentions. But just remember that a child is a ton of responsibility and depending if the parents will support the girl to finish school, she might have to drop out and find a full time job to support this wonderful bundle of joy. Good luck to your sister and remember, family always comes first.

He can not force it upon her. Yes she is young, but it should be her decision not his. I mean if she thinks that she is unable to take care of the child then she should sit down with your father and talk about other things like adaption. Or she can raise it herself. I know alot of people who had a child when they were her age, and they have all graduated high school and college. Its hard but it can be done.

He absolutely cannot FORCE her to get an abortion, it may cause problems for them, but it is her choice. I am completely pro-choice, which doesn't mean pro-abortion,(for all of you who think it does) and this is a perfect example of why not. I don't know your sister, but I completely SUPPORT her decision to have her baby!

I once heard someone say, "About all you can really call your own in this life is your principles... Once you give those away, there's nothing left."
Stay with what you believe.
