how to survive a boring class?

I have spanish class and its boring. this kid behind me never shuts up so that annoys me even more. what are fun ways to pass the time and also I dont like to skip classes

Get out a piece of paper and begin brainstorming. Write random things down on the paper. When you are done, start thinking about them, and then figure out how to turn your thoughts into a daydream. You can daydream about things you would like to do, or see. This makes the time pass so fast, that when you look up at the clock, the hour is over, and it is time to go to the next class.

Fold your hands on your desk and look around the classroom, or at someone else. Even better, put your head down on your desk. When you do this, make sure you sit at the back of the room so that maybe your teacher will not see you.

Get out a piece of paper and start drawing. This could also be an opportunity for you to learn something useful. The night before, go to Google and look up how to draw things. Print off a few things, and take the time during the boring class to brush up on your artistic skills!

Take out a pen and a notebook and start to write a story. It doesn't matter how good you are, just start writing about whatever comes to mind

Play quiet writing games instead of taking notes so you look like you're paying attention.

Continuously stare at somebody for the entire lesson without speaking, and if you can do it,blinking. Make sure that there is no expression on your face and it will really freak them out and will be more fun for you!

Purchase a caffeinated beverage before class such as coffee or cola. It is also a good idea to bring a little snack that is easily hidden

Wear as few items of clothing as possible if you want to stay awake, the cold will help

Hide more interesting reading material: prop open your textbook and conceals a book or magazine inside it. In addition, it does not hurt to pretend to take notes from time to time.

Send text messages on your cell phone. Engage in a text message conversation with your friends inside or outside of your class. Make sure your phone is in silent mode so you do not draw attention to yourself

Things You Should Avoid Doing During a Boring Class


Repeatedly looking at the clock to see how much time is left in your boring class. By doing this your are setting yourself up for the classic, "I have 15 minutes left!!!".

Making eye contact with a professor.

Making it obvious that you are not paying attention to the professor during class.

Drawing attention to yourself by talking, sleeping, eating loudly.
Bringing a snack that creates a lot of noise when eating it, such as apples, chips, and food in loud wrappers. These items will attract unwanted attention to yourself, which of course is not good.

or just get over with it. Even though you do not like that class, just try to treat that class like any other job you have. Who knows, you might learn something very interesting by the time you're done!

I'm in a Greek Civ class that's so boring I should bring a pillow for my pillow. I had the same problem with someone chatting behind me last week...I passed them a note asking them to be quiet so I could grab a nap (it worked and they didn't give me a dirty look). If you have a friend in the class pass notes with them, my friend and I make a continuous story ex. "you smell" - "you're a smelly girl" - "You're a smelly girl who smells like flowers" just dumb stuff like that so you don't lose your sanity completely. I'll sometimes go into a vivid sex daydream so I don't lose my mind. I've heard that bringing a small toy type thing to keep your hands busy can keep you focused. Good luck
