I'm not quite sure, but I'd say that yes they do. I've heard it somewhere. I'm pretty sure that Daiwa makes Cabela's reels, FYI. I know it's not a 100% helpful, but may be something.

Ya but not very big ones. You should probably get a 20-25lbs rod with 30lbs line and a Shimano Trinidad or Calcutta, or Torium but the best thing to get is a reel called and Avet. Those reels i suggest are top of the line reels and run about $300 each. They are all open faced reels.
