It means that something happened that you did not expect. For example, if you thought it would rain, and it did not, you might say, "The sun is shining; go figure."

It does not literally mean go figure it out yourself.
It is almost ironic, as in saying something is so nonsensical that nobody could figure out or explain the outcome, even if you tried! Good luck!

It is like saying "your guess is as good as mine"
or since I can't explain it, I won't even try.
You try to figure it out, not me!

Example:
My friend was upset that I didn't buy him what he wanted for his birthday, and complained I should have asked him first. So I found out what he really wanted and got it for him. Now he says he shouldn't have to tell me, and complains I only bought it because he asked. Go figure!

"Go Figure" is a phrase used when something happens unexpectedly, like under Murphy's Law. One says this to someone when something unexpectedly happens. The person literally is saying wow that was unepxected go figure out how it happened. But the person isn't really telling the person to go figure it out really.

It's a sarcastic way of saying "Typical."
It means that it's meant to happen, like something bad would happen on your wedding day, it's like it's destined to happen to you in an important moment in your life.

It means, "go figure it out," or "go make sense of it."

Example: "Kids these days are into Argentinian ninjas. Go figure."

Go figure it by yourself : go find it by yourself. It means to find in that case if I'm not mistaken.
