Yes, I realize that I can learn the language here. The reason I asked this question is because I want to travel and have the honor of experiencing other cultures.
Also, to Mr. Ignorant. Muslims do not hate women. You disgust me. Stop blindly taking whatever the media feeds you and open your eyes and explore for yourself. It is people like you who speak out of their bottom that fuel the hate and ignorance of the world. Do us all a favor and get your tubes tied or undergo a vasectomy!

Try Egypt first. They have a nice accent, and it is easier to learn how to speak it from them than Saudi Arabia. Trust me, I know what I am talking about. If later on after you get some grasp on the language, then go to Saudi Arabia.

Dubai is democratic/American friendly.

If you want to start local, look up a local mosque or ask at a travel agency, or check with any Islamic society or cultural association, or any chapter of the ADC (anti-discrimination committee) which focuses on public outreach and education on Arab or Islamic cultures.

I would absolutely go to the small and beautiful country of Lebanon. They are democratic and have the largest population of Christians in the middle east. They are pro-western and European. Many people speak Arabic, French and English. It is beautiful in the summer time and can go swimming in the Mediterranean sea, and in the winter you can go skiing in their mountains. Lebanon gets its name the word leban. Leban means yogurt in Arabic which refers to the snow covered mountain tops.
