Make it more interesting my dumping it out and making something else. Seriously, Hamburger Helper is very unhealthy. It's full of hydrogenated oils (the worst thing you can eat!) and MSG. Yuck!!! Look up recipes for casseroles or hot dishes and make it from scratch. There are many online recipe sites! I'm really not trying to be negative or mean; it's just that those boxed dinners aren't real food. Sorry.

Honestly- check out the nutrition info. It's horrible!! My husband grew up on hamburger helper- I grew up on made-from-scratch meals. Needless to say, I don't cook hamburger helper. There are a lot of really quick meals you can make from "scratch" that taste a lot better and are a lot better for you. Check out some of Rachel Ray's 30 minute meals. (go to foodnetwork.com) They really do take 30 minutes to prepare- that's about how long it would take you to cook a box of ham. helper. There are some really good ones!!

Didn't you see the first Vacation movie? Like cousin Eddie said, "I don't know why they call Hamburger Helper, it does just fine on it's own".
