Because having 13 hours of alseep, can be worse than having 7, depending on your age, you should hit exactly the amount of sleep you need, and you will wake up just fine, like one time i fell alseep at 3 o clock in the afternoon, woke up at about 11:30, and i was wide awake, becuase I convieniently hit the time to wake up, but then i fell back asleep to about 7, and i felt horrible, like I stayed up 10 days in a row, so try to time your sleep perfectly there is an algebraic question somewhere on the internet, but if your young, about 9 hours. if your a bit older 8, and if your very old, about 6 and a half, try to find it its like S=a*2.6937 dont ask, but its sometheing very simaler to that, i couldnt find it :\

it could be a variety of health reasons...you should take a look at your diet, did you recently cut out caffeine, did you start or stop exercising etc. It doesn't mean you have diabetes or depression, but it wouldn't hurt to visit the doctor. Since your name is Tucson, I am guessing even though the days are shorter you are still getting plenty of sunshine (I live near Phoenix) but it could still be SAD (seasonal affected disorder). There are also different types of flu going around...make sure your immune system is up by taking a vitamin and eating right.

it depends. how old are you? if you are a teenager/young adult your body and mind are still growing and may need extra sleep. but if you're older then maybe you should see a doctor. rarely, but sometimes there are underlying problems. i'm always sleepy, but i never get enough sleep in the first place. and i love naps. good luck

You might be anemic. I am. And Im constantly sleep. My parents thought it was because im lazy. But I found out I was anemic when I tried to donate blood last year. Taking iron pills should help!! <3

maybe it's because you're bored...like me i've got nothing to do after school... but it's the opposite for me...mine is that the days are starting to get longer i'm always thinking that there's nothing to do...well....i'm a bibliophile(bookworm well a bit...) so whenever i'm bored i'd just stick my head on a book... but since money is an option...i've kinda cut buying books and lately again bored i always feel tired like it's like i'm dead! so my advice to you is get a hobby mine is reading, and going here hahaha but i suggest getting a video game or a pet( i'm thinking about getting a bird) it's not just because i'm bored but it's one of my hobbies...or maybe you're just sick...try going to a doctor

Depression and Diabetes can both cause excessive sleeping and fatigue. You need to see a doctor to get diagnosed.
