get him something personalized. like the necklaces that you can engrave words into the piece/ or the charms that are gold and have scrolling text. just get him something like that, specifically casue to him its more than a gift from you. its expressing you r care for him, and that touches any guys soul, no matter how tough he pretends to be.

Write him a book of promises, 1 per week and make sure you keep them.........It's the only thing I would give that would mean anything or want to receive for that matter......
