my daughter is 15 months and is already trying to take her diaper off. Is there an easy way of potty training her? Or should i just keep working with her on using the "lil" potty?

Pull ups might be a good idea, but I never had any luck with them. Try the pampers brand that gets cool when wet. By the time those hit the market my kids were all potty trained. If being wet/dirty is bothering your child introduce them to the potty seat. Since you already have, here are some tips to encourage the potty seat. Try to get one that goes on the toilet. Take your child to the bathroom whenever you go, so they can see and they will want to "be like mommy" Give treats (cookies, apples, etc) for when they use the potty. Buy some potty training kids books and read to her.

Well, I'm still training my daughter. We first noticed that she would hide or tell us that she just went! So we talked to her and showed her where she's suppose to go, because she's growing. And she got the idea, so we went and picked out a potty for her and things got pretty easy after that. We also picked out toilet paper for her.

We only put only put on her pull ups when we're at home. When we go out we put her "baby" diapers incase she has an accident. Pulls ups can get soaked twice as much as diapers, so don't over use them.

Clothe diapers also work and help teach them alot quicker! here's a website to teach more about that!

GOOD LUCK!

let her use which ever potty she wants but if she is removing her diaper then it is definately time to do it.
Let her pick out some BIG GIRl PANTIES. Tell herif she don't have an accident she get s a treat. Then expand the time of each accident. LIke if you don't have an accident in an hour, then if you all day without an accident we'll do this, then if you go 3 days etc. eventually NO MORE DIAPERS YIPPY!

well for me the easiest way was to take my son to potty first thing when he wakes up in the am and from nap that way he understood a little better what potty was for and helped him gett in good routine for using the potty. and when you notice your child is having a bowel movment run and put him on the potty then also that will help get him or her get in good habits and always make a big deal and applause him yeah you used the potty like a big big boy or girl good job

I started training mine when they started recognizing when she was dirty and would bring me a diaper. Usually around 12-15 months. when they would wake up in the morning, I would put them on teh potty, at first they were afraid, but I got a seat adapter and let them pick it out.
In the first morning time, they would usually pee, and then they got a prize. That started them wanting to do it more.
Before a bath, while the water was running, they would usually go.
I found M&M's or skittles, something easy for them to eat, cheerios would work too. One for #1 and two for #2 and three if they do both.
Good luck

I think that if she is taking the initiative you should go for it!!! The thing that will make it the easiest is to be consistent. For example take her to the potty every couple of hours and give her a chance to potty. Pretty soon she will be going on her own. Good Luck!!

Just do what is fun for now since she is so young. I know of someone who brags how her daughter was trained at 6 months. Impossible right. SHe used to hold baby over the toilet with the aid of a potty shairs to save money on diapers. to each their own I guess.

Keep working with the small potty. Pull-Ups are good to.

just give her lots of juice or water and then take her to the potty every 15 -30 min. Sit for awhile and read books. If she tinkles (even just a little) give lots of praise and maybe even a reward (we used m&ms). Lots of patience is a must. Good luck!

If your little one wants to use the big potty, then let her. just put the set for the little potty on the big potty. She might be telling you that she wants to do things like you. I know my litle girl tries to do everything like me.

good luck.
