I get an awful headache just about every day, if not every other day. I'd like to think I get a migrane about once a month but my mother thinks I don't.
(Migrane, meaning it feels like my head is cracking open and feels like it should be bleeding it hurts that bad...and often I can't see as well)
Its been this way since the 3rd grade (I'm in 12th grade now).
I have allergies, but I always take allergy pills even though its generic...if brand name really matters..

I drink plenty of water everyday. I walk on the treadmill about 5 days out of the week for an hour.

I take Tylanol (sp?), Advil, Asprin, all things legal ect. AND NOTHING WORKS.

Though I am in a very stressful environment and there is nothing I can really do about it, since its school and I can't move out yet...and I dont have access to a doctor.
So what can help get rid of these headaches please??

This sounds like you need to get your eyes checked by an eye doctor. Even if you have glasses (or not) your vision does and will continue to change. Even the slightest change in vision can cause a bad headache. With you still being at home, get your parents to make an appointment with an eye doctor.

If the eye doctor does not find any problems with your eyes, you will need to go to your family doctor. There could be other problems that make you keep getting headaches such is tumors in the brain and ectra.

Since you are still living with your parents, and in school (I assume you are under 18 years old), your parents have to make sure you get the proper medical attention. Have your parents get you to the eye doctor and to the family doctor.

Good Luck :-)

Headaches can be caused by a number of things, from intracranial pressure, forward head posture, problems of the cervical spine, neuromuscular reflexes causing referred pain, ect. Basically your body is telling you something and you need to find out what it is and have the problem taken care of! The best thing you could do is see a chiropractor for this problem. They have the highest success rate for reducing the number and frequency of headaches. The fact that you have vision problems when you have your headaches points toward intracranial pressure. An upper cervical chiropractor is your best bet.
Good luck!

I had headaches for weeks when I was in high school and it turned out to be anemia. If you can't get to a doc, try to increase your iron, especially during and after your period. You can also get vitamin supplement with extra iron at the drug store. If its not anemia, I agree with the other post about getting your eyes checked. That's also a problem that I had with headaches too. Hope this helps.

You need to see a doctor. This is too long and too often to have headaches. Go to a walk-in clinic if you don't have a doctor. Read the aspirin bottle, it says if symptoms persist, consult a physician. You need to know what's causing them and not suffer anymore. Ask a friend to help find a clinic. Do it soon, and good luck.
