When you get to South Carolina, go to the DMV. You probably won't have to take a road test again but might have to take a written test. That depends on the state. If you have to take a test, they'll give you a book to study. Otherwise, they'll probably just check you vision, take your picture and have you pay $. Usually you have 30 days I think to change your license over when you move, so it's not a panic when you get there but you also don't want to forget about it.
Enjoy the sunshine in SC!

Walk into the South Carolina Driver's License bureau with your current license. They will trade it out and give you a new one.
They will check for tickets and make sure your license hasn't been suspended.

various issues right here: - exhibits a governmental selection for Christians basically. Why no movie star of David with i've got confidence? Why no Pentagram with i've got confidence? Why no Crescent Moon with i've got confidence? - it actual does violate the form and the separation of church and state - it relatively is not comparable to determining to purchase a customised plate that basically says i've got confidence. It additionally has the circulate imprinted on the plate and promises a feeling of the state government endorsement. - i think of South Carolina, like Florida, would be compelled to scrap the assumption. - if the initiative passes will the state of South Carolina additionally grant an atheist plate that proclaims "The Bible is Mere Christian Mythology" with a image of Jesus with a pink circle around him and a pink line with the aid of it? of direction not and therein lies the real situation.

Go to the DMV in the county you move to. Take your current drivers license and proof of residency (utility bill, mortgage letter, or letter from your landlord). In the state of SC if you have a vehicle registered in your name then you are required to have insurance. If you have a vehicle to register then you have to go to the county tax office and pay property taxes, then take that, proof of insurance, and the title to the DMV to get it switched over to SC.
