Sounds like you have a bladder or kidney infection, especially if it's only been a few days. Don't leave it too long because once it becomes painful then it really hurts.
Drink 2 large glasses of water. Everytime you go to the bathroom for the next 2 hours drink another glass. You will feel like you're living in the bathroom for an evening but you should be sorted out by the next day. If not - see a doctor

go to the store, get a product called Azo Standard, in the pharmacy dept.
If after two or three days that doesn't help, see the doc.
I have had alot of experience with urinary tract infections. It sounds like that is what you have, I would not wait any longer than the couple of days, Drink pleanty of water and cranberry juice which helps with the uti also .

Try flushing your system out with lots and lots of fluids. That should do the trick. Also, eat celery and cucumber as these are natural diuretics and should help. It could be the cold weather, but if it's also painful, it could be cystitis, for which you should see your GP for antibiotics and drink lots of water and also cranberry juice or capsules.

Try drinking some cranberry juice (unsweetened) If it's a urinary type problem it may well help ease it...
Other causes of such 'situations' could be related to the prostate gland... Which alas, only your Doctor can check!

You could be trying to pass a kidney stone. This can stop you from completely emptying your bladder. You could have a urinary track infection. You could have a bladder infection.
I would go to the doctor as soon as possible before it gets worse.
Good Luck :-)

cysitist(no idea how to spell it )some times it can sting a little when you do pee.but 100% cranberry juice cures this fast.and its very common mostly in woman but men can get it to.it happens when mall crytals form in your tubes and block pee from leaving the body fully.harmless but annoying.

You have a urinary tract infection.
(Can't help for men; but in women it's called cystitis and gives you the feeling that you ALWAYS need to wee!)
Short course of antibiotics is needed.
