Well last month he moved to colorado, while im in california. I have no doubt he is staying faithful but im having a hard time not liking other people, my age, that are local. I really like this guy ALOT! but im starting to like other guys! what should i do?

It all depends...
You say that the two of you are not official yet.If this is the case, then simply let him know that he is free to date around, and that you are too. Make sure he is aware of how much you like him, and you should both stay in touch. Free yourself up to meet other boys. Later, ( a few years) if you still find yourselves dating, long after the other boys have come and gone, then it may be time to become exclusive. Have fun now, no attatchments, and be careful!
Good Luck girl!

I will ask you a question that one of my dorm mates asked me when I was missing my at-home-bf my freshman year in college. Is this it, THE guy, the last guy you're ever going to date, kiss, be with, for the rest of your lives? Can you handle that? Not that you'd have the opportunity to be with him forever, but that you will be giving up the excitement of meeting and being with someone new, of the exploration that is a natural part of youth. Are you ready, at 16, for a lifetime commitment?

If you answer "yes," then you should have your head examined. Either that, or your world was meant to be small. Not that there's anything wrong with people having a smaller world, getting married young, staying in their small town, having kids young. Just make sure that's what you really want, and that you're not just mooning after a feeling that existed once, now needs to be let go to make room for more, new, good feelings and experiences.

I think the best thing to do is just tell him you want to keep your options open. He is a little to old for you too, but if he understands what you're saying he'll stay faithful to you. Just tell him you want explore some options and it's really hard for you for him to live so far away. If you don't want to cool it then arrange visits where he could come and see you. He is his own legal guardian now so he's basically free to do what he wants. I'm in a long distance relationship too so I know what it feels like to be so far apart. Just tell him you trust him and you miss him but for now let's be friends. If you decide in a couple years that he's still the one for you then I wish you the best of luck.

Go for the other guys.

The 19-year old is probably looking at different women also. And he could be put in jail if he has a relationship with a 16-year old. That would give him a lifelong record as a sex offender.

long distance relationship doesn't work for young couples especially for teenagers.
trust me, it's a matter of time that he will find someone in his town just like you did in your town.
your still 16 and you don't have to put yourself in this hard situation.
just find a new guy and date him. move on.

You are young and it's not "official" so I say talk to him about what you feel and both of you start seeing other people for awhile.

Tell you long distance BF that you want to just date other people. Tell him the distance thing is difficult.
Be real.

That depends on how long it will be before you all 'hook-up' again....and you are only 16 best to find some one close and not waste your time waiting..........
