Here's what you do....,
* Buy a disposable camera
* take your pictures
* Get them developed
* if your sister has a scanner and CD burner on her computer - have her scan your pics and burn them to a CD.

*** If she does not have those things - then have a friend do it. No friends have a scanner or CD burner? No problem! Walmart will scan and put your pics on a CD... call and check first to be sure.

Have fun on your field trip!

PS - someone suggested buying a cheapo digital camera. Which is not a bad idea. Those $19 cameras dont take the best pictures in the world but some take as good a picture as regular film cameras do. Heck! Now days they have $20 digital cameras with the preview screen and those take fairly good pics. Walmart has a good selection of cheap digital cameras.

I don't really blame her for not letting you bring her digital camera, since they're pretty expensive and fragile. You might be better off just buying one of your own (you can get a really good camera these days in the $80-100 range.) Alternatively, just the other day I saw disposable digital cameras that you buy in any drugstore (I saw in Walgreen's and CVS). When you turn in the camera they give you a CD with the pictures on it. Good luck and don't be mad at your sister!

well, now CVS/Rite Aid has a disposible camcorder and digital camera, so you can get them on the computer. Also, there is regular disposible cameras you can ask to have the pictures put onto a disc for you!

I don't understand why you can't just bring the digital? If a family member or a school worker says you can't, just remember that it is your camera and not the school's. They really can't tell you what to do with your own belongings. Have fun in NY!

Perhaps you could take the time and learn how to form sentences and then she might trust you to take the camera.
'my sister has wont' majes NO sense.

You can still put the pictures on the computer even if you use a disposable camera just ask them to put it on disc.

There are cheap digital cameras at Walmart and other discount stores. by one of your own. your sister has a right to decide what happens with her property.
