Your dog licks you because she loves you. And she puts her ears back and looks inocent because shes scared. And she might not know what she did wrong. Remember if she did something bad dont hit her after she stopped catch her doing it and punish her. Supprise her. Dont let her know you are there. Good Luck. ( dont punish her too much just say a firm NO and give her a tiny tap on the nose. Because remember shes your friend not your servant.) (and if she bites you its just like you doing something wrong and shes punishing you. But if she does bite you then you need to show her she cant do that.)

The dog licks you because he loves you. Think of how a mama dog licks her pups. You should feel honored. As for when she puts her ears back and looks all innocent, look away and smile. She is sooo cute when she does this but you don't want to undermine her getting in trouble. Don't stay mad for long, she needs to know that you still love her let her give you some more of those puppy kisses (licks) and be friends.

Licking for dogs means that they love you, and on the reaction that you mention about the ears and looks it's so typicall in dogs, they know they did something wrong and literaly have no words to say I'm sorry.

A true sign Of LOVE. How lucky you are!!!! My little baby will lick me till the skin is gone from my face. Licking from a cat or dog is truly the honor we want from our pets. It is the highest sign of affection they can give.
