Should i tell my boyfriend i smoke pot?

i smoke pot every day and my boyfriend doesnt know. half the time i'm with him i'm baked, but he doesn't like to smoke. what should i do? i don't want to stop getting high, but my boyfriend is really hot.

I really can't understand why you would have to put so much emotion in this and to over react . Ok, kissing a smoker (in your case smoker in mine a girl that smokes) would be like kissing an ashtray , unless he doesn't wash mouth or uses some gum or something to get that smell out, since you mentioned hes a really nice guy and good.... Like if he asked you if you want him to stop then tell him yeah, i want you to stop, and if he wont stop well maybe he wont do it near you or wont talk about it, and this would still be good since you wont have to listen or see him smoking pot. And are you guys thinking of a marriage or what? If yes then just tell me you will marry me when you wont smoke pot at all, and that's that, if no then no. Otherwise if this is the best guy you ever meet then whats the problem with him, i mean ok he just didn't do it near you or didn't talked with you about it, he just confessed he does it. IF you still don't like that a person you like smokes pot and can't live with this idea when then leave him and find another nice guy. BY THE WAY. NEVER GET IN THIS. and i mean ok you are together but don't start smoking pot or get involved in things like this. Hes your boyfriend but you don't have to take part of something that will destroy you or take you in jail.

Well the question you need to ask yourself is: What is more important to you - getting high and killing your brain cells or having a "hot" boyfriend.

If you really smoke everyday and you bake - I know he has to smell it on you. The smell of pot doesn't go away very easy.

And I really hope that your boyfriend has more redeeming qualities than "hot", because that's pretty shallow.

Another question is: If you told him and he said he couldn't be with a girl that smoked - would you quit for him(more importantly for yourself) or would you just keep killing the brain cells you have that will never, ever come back once they are gone?

Shug, he probably already knows. You potheads always think that nobody knows that you're stoned. Y'all either smell like herb, or you smell like patouli or something else that just stumbled out of a headshop because you're trying to cover up the smell of pot smoke. And if, for some reason, you don't smell funny, there's always that perpetually glazed, dazed-n-confuzed look in your eye. You know, that look that says, "Yo, dude, uh....what?". Also, the honeybear bong on your coffee table may be a dead giveaway. Yes, little stoner-pookie, I'm pretty sure your hottie boyfriend already knows. don't tell him just yet but realize that at some point you'll have too. and if he does not like it, *uck him!!!!!!! you've had your fun, right! plus he's not your dad either so you shouldn't be afraid.

you can tell him, be completely honest with the guy you like. then the decision is up to him. don't limit yourself to "he's too hot". there's plenty of other guys who are way hotter and will smoke, kick it with ya'!

You should tell him...just cuz he doesnt like to smoke dont mean he'll rly care if you do..unless ur lyk w/ a bunch of dudes getting high...I dont lyk to smoke that much either, but I dont mind being around it or if my b/f does it..as long as hes not w/ a bunch of hos or summin..

Just feel him out about his views on drugs. If he's open minded he might actually join you. Or if he's strongly against it, simply don't tell him unless things get serious.

If things get serious that's to large a secret to keep - especially from a fiance or spouse.

For all you know he has some 'terrible' secret that he wants to share - maybe he's a heroin addict - or a pill popper...

Chances are, he'll dump you if you don't stop. It doesn't matter if you tell him or not - soon he'll find out anyway. He already told you he doesn't want to smoke. Take your pick - hot BF or pot, for now you have a choice. If you don't make your choice, it will make itself.

Your not doing yourself any favors by hiding it. The longer it goes, the worse it will be when he finds out. If 2 years from now he finds out you've been doing this behind his back the whole time, he's gonna thing "What else has she been hiding from me for the last 2 years"? Do it now if you have a conscience.
