That is something from one of those horrible online translators - someone put in English and got that garbage. The Latin was butchered, so it is hard to say what exactly it was supposed to say, but they generally retain the original word order. So something like "The shadow/ghost of a man is onto me". Those online translators ought to come with a warning. What they do to Latin is just a crime.

onto is not Latin
Umbra vir est mihi could be construed as
Man is a ghost (shadow) to me
It almost sounds like something from the Aeneid
