The two ideas seem incompatible unless you can understand that the idea of heaven and hell have been misinterpreted.
Heaven is proximity to God, or how close you are to God. Hell is the way that your life feels when there is distance between you and God.
Once you realize this then reincarnation is compatible with the idea of heaven and hell.

You talk of extra effective than one faith right here. Reincarnation is a element of Hinduism and a few of its offshoots. Hell is in the worldwide in a feeling. in case you reside a virtuous existence, you progression as much as the subsequent caste once you're reincarnated. in case you do no longer, you progression down and could grow to be a decrease animal. A virtuous Brahmin passes directly to Nirvana. this is a great equipment to have as many opportunities as you go with. In Christianity, you in basic terms have one, and the Heaven and Hell many times portrayed are the two undesirable. Tom Sawyer advised Aunt Polly that he did no longer prefer to drift on a cloud enjoying a harp perpetually. i might quite have the 72 houris Moslem Paradise delivers. Oh nicely, that's all having a pipe dream. Heaven, Hell, Sheol, Nirvana, Hades and the 72 houris are all fiction. this is ultimate somewhat!

you have to sort this out in your own time, and not let other people influence you. get all the information you need. join groups of pagans/ hinduism / christainity. and ask questions, that is the only way to put your mind at ease.
this is my opinion. since i am a pagan, i totally believe you make your own heaven or hell while you are living, and then once you die, you can decide if you want to be reincarnated or not. (i think most souls decide to take a break before deciding to be reincarnated.)
good luck and take your time. I hope that you will find the answers you are looking for.

This is what the Bible says: (and i know, you don't hear this taught in the sunday schools, but it IS what it says):
There are a total of three earth ages; one that was - this would be before adam and eve, when Satan rebelled and drew away a third of the people. God then instead of destroying one-third of his children (what does it take to kill one of your own children) he made us flesh, each to be born of woman, to decide once and for all who we wish to follow - God or Satan - this time that we live now is the Second earth age - there is one more; When Christ come back at the end of this age, there will be a 1000 year period where there will be teaching, correcting, and disipline - now don't take this to mean everybody gets a second chance - they don't - its just that with whats being taught, most folks today don't have a first chance. After that 1000 years, only those who are judged favorably live in the 3rd and final earth age, forever.
Nowhere in the Bible does it suggest you return as somebody or something else - and you won't. The Bible does mention that Jesus healed people possessed - if you hear of someone who believes they have been reincarnated, it is nothing more than an evil spirit who possesses the mouth of the idiot and prattles on....
JThe Word also states that to be absent from this body is to be present with the Lord. The dead are not in some hole in the ground, they are with the Father. They also aren't floating around in somebody elses body, again, they are with the Father.
The only deviation from the earth ages and us passing through them once is in the Book of Jude - it tells you of some angels who didn't want to be born of woman, so they left their habitation and came down to earth and seduced woman. These angels are sentenced to die with satan at the end of the 1000 year period, or millinium. They were called geba - which translated means giants. That is why God explains that he brought in the flood of Noah's time - to get rid of that influx of geba. God absolutely will not tolerate any deviation from his plan,
and that is to live through each of the first two ages and then hopefully the third -that is once per for each soul. Thats what the Book says.

I would be very careful. Religion isn't a buffet, it's a choice and a way of life and Jesus said there was a cramped road leading to salvation at Matthew 7 ; 14 . Many of the Jews rejected Jesus cause they preferred the old law system and their traditions and thus they lost out on the blessings . Paul said at Colossians 2; 8 " Look out, perhaps there may be someone who will carry you off as his prey through the philosophy and empty deception according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary things of th world and not according to Christ."

Hello Kesley K.. :)
re·in·car·na·tion (rn-kär-nshn) Pronunciation Key
n.
Rebirth of the soul in another body.
A reappearance or revitalization in another form; a new embodiment:
==============================================
If the above is the true definition of reicarnation..
Then Christians also believe:
1 Corinthians 15
48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
51 ¶ Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 1 Thes. 4.15-17
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
==============================================
1 Thessalonians 4
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Cor. 15.51-52
18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
==============================================
I pray this helps.. :)
Have a Happy Thanksgiving.. :)

In the bible in the book of Luke 16:19-31 there is a story of Lazarus and a beggar.
To shorten the story the beggar ended up in Heaven and Lazaurs went to Hell, and Lazarus looked up and saw the beggar next to Abraham, and when Lazarus asked Abraham for a drop of water on his tongue to cool it Abraham said. 26"Besides there is a big pit between you and us, so no one can cross over to you, and no one can leae there and come here."
There is no reincarnation.
In Matthew 16:5 Jesus warns against wrong teachings.
Hope this helps...

we are souls, when we become babtised the holy spirit is intertwined within our soul , we become one. Thats the counselor that lives within us. a seperate entity entwined in our souls to guide and teach and help and even give spiritual abilitys at times. Reincarnation is this, earthly spirits also dwel within people at times. to the best of my knowledge the the earthly spirit is deceptive and trys to entice people into false religions. This is strictley forbiden in christianity. It is a seperat entity and has nowledge from its passed which could be a long time.Dont be enticed into these false doctrin or you will end up introuble

You can believe in both. Some people believe that a soul gets reincarnated if that person had some unfinished business to take care of. In the movie "What Dreams May Come", they go to Heaven, but they choose to go back to Earth and live another life together. It's sweet.
