Because that has NEVER been our intention. Why can't people understand this? If we wanted total control over Iraq, that would have been a very simple and quick war to fight and win.

Absorb how, making it a state? Not! This may not be the dumbest solution Anyone has suggested in the last week or so.
Whoever it is out there that is suggesting we get Syria and Iran involved in finding a solution to the Iraq problem, really needs to have their head examined. This has got to be the most amateurish and naive idea that anyone has come up with.
My instincts tell me it was someone new we haven't heard from before. I certainly hope that it was a dumb @ss democrat who brought this one to the table, because if it was a republican, I am going to start buying Iranian war bonds, because if that's the case, our entire political base has completely lost whatever grey matter they had left. Need I say more!

Right now, the opposite is happening.
America has been widely effected by the events in Iraq. The USA fought a great war, but can't seem to win the peace.

we are fighting the terrorists in iraq not the citizens and we alreadyn have killed their msot important people in iraq, we are winnign the war and this will be a very long war unless theirs a democratic president to screw this all up and we all die, DEMOCRATS SUCK AND REPUBLICANS RULE
