Get your hair trimmed every 6-8 weeks and use Bed Head Moisture Maniac.

How often do you get it cut? You don't necessarily have to have split ends to need a haircut. If it's been over 2 months then get a healthy cut...say 2 or 3 inches to get the dry stuff off, more if need be. Then get it cut every 4-6 weeks, just the ends ...say a 1/4 of an inch.

Get a product made by bed head called " Ego boost" it's an end tamer. Use it with or without an iron, but if you use it with an iron then slow down a bit when you slide it over the ends. Not too much, but enough to let the product work. You can use a flat iron or a curling iron with this product.

You should also get a hair polish or some "silk therapy" by Farouk. You can even use this stuff on your skin. It makes hair and skin silky smooth.

Good luck and God bless. I hope this helps you.

Try this product, Matrix Essentials Instacure Leave-In treatment (see here: http://www.matrix.com/products/matrix_essentials/instacure.aspx ) Spray on the damaged part of your hair (just spray on the ends if you feel the top is fine) after shampooing and conditioning while still wet and style as usual. After regular use, you will notice a huge difference.

Good luck!

I would suggest that you stop washing it so much and try using oil on your hair (If you are African American). When you go to sleep try to wrap your hair up and put a Silk Wrap Cap on it. That will help to keep your pillow cases from drawing all of the oil and protection out of your hair. If you have any color or streaks in your hair you may need to stop putting that in your hair as well. Don't use any heavy grease, but try using the oils. They can really help. Hope this works for you! This is what I do for my hair. AL`

Always be sure to drink plenty of water; stay away from so much soda pop and caffinated drinks.

Talk to a hairdresser; I love my Biolage products.
