K, well my girlfriend has been raped by her dad, she has told her mom who thinks she is only saying it to get attention, she told me and she made me swear to god that i wouldn't tell anyone, i think it is getting worse and i need to get her to tell someone, anyone, who will help. She won't tell because she doesn't want them to a) take her or her sister away from her mom. b) get taken away from me. C) fear it will just make things worse. I need to get her to tell someone... i don't know what to do, i'm scared to death for her and want the best for her, but i don't know how to get that right now, will some one just help me think of something please...?

The ONLY right thing for you to do is to report it to the police. She's in a vile situation with a monster, and if she's too afraid of reporting it, then be the best boyfriend that you can be and report it for her. You can do it anonymously if you want to.

You are right to care about her situation...it is aweful and scary for her.My suggestion is that she get a physical exam to verify the abuse through a medical professional.I do not know how old she is, but if she tells the doctor what is going on the doctor is obligated BY LAW to report him and to submit the medical info to verify his report. If you are in High school this may be able to be done thru the school counselor and school nurse. Bottom line is-this is serious , and what she is telling you is happening WILL happen again to her and possibly her sister too, if not already.Tell your parents, tell someone.Call Womens Space and talk to them .They would have a plethera of resources and a way to protect the girls in this. She may be mad at you for saying something, but what kind of friend would you be if something worse happened that you could have prevented? Be her hero. Those are hard to come by these days. And she trusts you enough to tell you...a cry for help from an outsider if you ask me.
I pray that you do the right thing.I think that you know already what the right thing is.

Tell your parents exactly what she said and they need to call law enforcement. You aren't helping her by not telling. She needs to realize that if she doesn't do anything her sister will be next. And she and her sister aren't safe with her mom when her mom is acting blind.

More than likely her mom will learn the truth and kick her dad out (she will have to legally) and your girlfriend, sister, and mom will stay right where they are. Only they'll be safe.

Be a hero - speak up! If your parents don't listen then tell a guidance counselor or a teacher or call the cops yourself. Thank you in advance for helping her.

And she doesn't have to know that it was you that reported it. But you'll know in your heart that you saved her.

Dude, it looks like you should care more about her than yourself and what she thinks of you. If she won't tell anyone, YOU will have to do it- for her safety! If her dad is abusing her, she could end up badly hurt. If she freaks out and gets mad at you, at least the problem will be out in the open, which will be best for her and her sister. Seriously, I know its hard, but at times like this you can't worry about making the person in trouble mad at you- you have to think of what will happen if no one says anything. Do you want the best for her, or not? Then tell the cops, tell a teacher, tell your parents, tell SOMEONE!

omg maybe you should tell your parents and see what they think or if that isn't an option make a anynamous call to child protective services. As a victim of such a crime when I was a child it is much better for her to get away from this situation cause in the end she will suffer more when she gets older the longer she stays in this enviroment.PLEASE help her, plz

Chances are the mother wouldn't lose her kids but the father would. He will likely be charged and made to stay away from his kids until his trial. It is absolutely essential that you tell somebody who will investigate. This poor girl is stuck in hell and needs your help. Even if she never talks to you again, you obviously love her and, eventually, she'll know that you acted out of love. Be brave, be strong, good luck... Do this immediately. Let us know, somehow, how it turned out.

Call the frigging police or CPS. Nice mom too. Sounds like a great family. Good luck to your girlfriend and her sister. Maybe they could come stay with you? You seem like you care - which is more than it sounds like for her family.

Do whatever you have to do. Tell your parents, teachers, call the police but this girl needs to be protected no matter what. You will be glad you did whatever you could to save her and god knows who else. If he would rape his own daughter he would rape anyone. Its really disgusting and un-forgiveable.
