I am a 33 year old woman and I'm interested in starting to do Yoga, but I am not flexible AT ALL. Does your body really become more flexible over time?

The more you work on it, the more you might become flexible.

Yes, I am beginning yoga and have noticed a difference already. You should be able to gradually increase your flexibility over time. The yogo practice respects your body's limits too.

Most definatly! I am thirteen and am in many sports. over the summer I get stiff but once I start up again I am as flexible as can be. I hear yoga is very healthy and will increase your health. It protects you against injuries. Good Luck!

Absolutely, but you must take it easy to start. Those people who have been practicing yoga for years can bend and stretch in ways that you would never think possible! You'll be told to hold a position for about a minute but when you start out, a few seconds will be enough. Listen to your body and don't over-do it or you'll be SO sore the next day! Trust me..... :o)
