Traditional Arabic: Ma'a ماء
All Arabs can understand this one, and there are more similar words for that, which differs according to the region/country & accents.
for instance:
In Kuwait,Iraq & some other countries in gulf region they say "maay/maai" ماي - pronounced like "My" in english.
In Bahrain,Saudi Arabia,UAE,Qatar they say "Moya" مويا
In Egypt they say "Mayya" ميه
In Lebanon,Syria,Jordan they say "mai" ْمَي - don't stress on the 'a' - (different pronounciation that maai 'my')
--
Persian: aap آب (rhymes with ah)
--
Turkish: Su (pronounced like soo - or soup, but without the p ofcourse)
--
French: Eau
--
Ok now those were what i am sure of. Now the following translation i am not so sure of:
Italian: Acqua
Spanish: Agua
German: Wasser
Portuguese: Água
Dutch: Water
Russian: вода
