At the begging of the school year (end of August), this boy used to look at me. So, when I found out I stared back. When he found out I was looking back, he stoped. And then I stoped.
Now I see him looking at me again. Just FYI, I've never met this kid before.
What exactly does this mean? Why won't he talk to me?
I know one of you is going to say 'go talk to him', but I'm afraid that the convo would be very awkward cosidering this staring-game has been going on for months.

don't you think the other person is afraid of the exact same thing? Why does everyone sit on their thumbs waiting for someone else to make a move?

ok well just put yourself in his position...he may feel the same way as you. If you want something to start up then (hate to say it) but you might have to make the first move! And if it doesn't work then maybe he isn't into you like that. All you have to do is talk to him and get to know him....the worst that could happen is he wouldn't talk back. Think of some things to ask him beforehand so that there isn't an okward moment! Good Luck!

He is interested .. definitely but maybe too shy.
I would write a note and drop it in his locker.
Tell him something cute and quirky and sign it with a clue to who you are...
Do it every couple days for a week or so, if he starts to ignore you, then it is done... he is too shy and not ready for females in his life. If he is looking and smiling, he is liking it....
If the response is positive after a week. set up a place to meet at a certain time. sign it secret admirer. everybody is curious and I think he will be pleasantly surprised. and you can start from there.
a mutual admiration society of your own.....Do not tell anyone, not eern your best gf about this......

He might find u attractive, but be too shy to tell u. If u dont wanna approach him, maybe ask one of his friends. Or get one of ur friends to talk to him. It might be awkward, but ur gonna keep wondering if u dont. Or if u cant do that either, just casually talk to him. Dont ask why hes been staring, just start a conversation with him. This may break the ice for both of u.

will my dear girlfriend,you are still young enough to take control here and any other situation like this in your future,
so I suggest go ahead and at least wave *hi*,or better yet,walk over and introduce yourself.
he too could be thinking of wanting to say something ,yet because women equality is so much more powerful these days,he is probably scared,so go ahead girlfrind and do the first step.

It could mean that he likes you and is too shy to say anything. If you decide to talk to him, ask if he's got any interests that you have and go from there. You gotta try...Staring gets boring after awhile.

hmm well if he has been staring at you that long he must be intrested in you to some extent. talking to him would be a good idea, but if you are too shy, i would suggest just waving or something simple like that

Next time you see him looking at you, go over and tell him you are going to poke him in the eye with your finger if he looks at you again. Then when he looks at you to answer you tell him you're looking at me again hold your finger up and smile. That ought to break the "ice". Good luck.

He's interested! you don't go up and talk to him, maybe just smile. or even wave at first, if he smiles back -thats a FORSURE sign he's diggin' yah. lol From there. if you wont make the first move and talk to him, maybe he will? /goood luck :)
