What a lousy father uhh? Yea myne was like that also after my mom left {22 yrs and 4 kids later}. Taking care of kids is a big responsibility and its not a joke unfortunatly most fathers out there think its funny that they wont help the mother out cause they think the mother is going to suck up all the money {at least my dad did}. Look girl it takes two to make a baby and its going to take two to take care of one, my advice is {not sure if you were married or not} you need to go straight down to the D.A. and tell them this and the father will have to pay no matter what, if he dont pay he gets his liscense tooken away and if he still dont pay he goes to jail and to top it off sweety 75 dollars isnt enough you have a baby you should be getting at least 300-400 dollars. If he expects you to pay for everything, you need to tell him to shove it and you need to go straight down to that D.A. and get him for paying cause not only do you need this money and its very important so does that child. And all that back child support sure does add up all of my moms kids are all grown and my dad still has to pay he cant retire like he thought he would he has to pay and pay he is more than 20,000 behind and each month they take from his pay check about 400 dollars. so do yourself the favor and get out of him what he owes you and yes he does owe that child support to you. and 75 isnt enough. Go get what you deserve. Good Luck

In this day and age 75$ is not enough for a week. Child support is to cover the child's living expenses such as a roof over his head, electricity for the stove that fixes his food, water to wash is clothes, and to give him a bath ext. Add it up! 75$ a month is not even close to half!!!

It's best that you take the matter to court and
this way you will get a quote of what he needs
to pay and also a court order that he pays on
a continous basis as u say sometimes he does
not give u anything. The baby is the priority here
and don't even hesitate for one second to take
the case to court so that ur baby will at least
get the necessitties that is needs by him paying.

You actually need to get custody and support set up via the courts. This ensures that you get it and that it is set on a given amount due to his income level. You can not just ask for 500.00 and expect to get it. Your state or country will have the posted percentages for the income he has. You can not decide that you need 500.00 dollars if he is not making that kind of money at his job. Call a lawyer.

OMG $75 is NOTHING.... he needs to help u w/ baby costs. u should write down how much u spend on diapers, food, clothes, shelter (ur house rent is for the baby too now!), car payments, etc, and let him know it is damn expensive to take care of a child!!!!!

Usually it's a percentage of salary for a child or children. I would think 25% of the gross of his salary would be fair for a monthly payment.

5 words for you....Take His A** To Court!!

Don't ask him for anything the courts will decide how much he should pay and if he doesn't he'll go to jail.

call you local district attorney, they take the money right out of his check and he can't do anything about it....dead beat dads are no more.
