Sounds nice but as an atheist I only know of three or four others. We're not a religion and are not organized. In general we don't care who believes what, unless they try to get in our face or push theocracy.

Atheists don't hate religion. They just think it's false. And why do you hope they succeed in wiping out christianity and islam? What is the point in taking someone's faith and hope away?

Many atheists and agnostics are friends and many times kinfolk to believers. Many atheists and agnostics come from households the position faith is or replaced into practiced. virtually everybody contained in the political section is a believer. maximum specialist athletes are believers. i'm confident there are diverse people contained in the leisure field who're believers. and many believers contained in the commonly used public eye are vocal about reported idea. And even as a events crew wins a championship, you may relax guaranteed that someone on the crew will be thanking Jesus. non secular people and believers are everywhere, so that is hard to ignore them, as you recommend. If nonbelievers have a purpose, that is likely to go away this international an more advantageous position than they found it. you do not favor to worship an invisible guy contained in the sky to have a purpose or meaning in existence. And if we are bitter and offended, that is on the intrusion of your non secular beliefs and inconsistent morals into our lives. And one may be non secular without being non secular.

I have not heard of the movement, but I imagine that they have their work cut out for them. Billions of people to persuade to recant their religions... Perhaps they should start smaller and wipe out reality TV?
Then again someone said that Television is the opiate of the masses.

Why? If they did that we'd just have competing groups of atheists killing each other. With religion we get cool stories.

LOL!!! They would also be wiping out themselves, since Atheism is ALSO a religion. If you believe in a God, that is your faith, your religion. If you do NOT believe in a God, that is your faith, your religion. Atheism is a RELIGIOUS BELIEF that God does not exist. Any view of a God - whether for or against - is based on faith.
