I know i just asked this question but I did not get to many responses...I guess this is more a question for the guys...I was seeing a guy for about 5-6mths my mind is still boggled how I let this go so long...But not once did he ever tell me how he felt about me he spent time with me texted me and called me...we went out on dates and for the most time spent alot of time together considering the distance and his job...since he never told me how he felt I never put my self out there so I would get hurt...I guess my question is is why would he continue to see me for so long if he was not interested? And do men consider a 5-6mth relationship meaning less? Also why would he just not communicate with me ex. he cared about me or...at least tell me if he was seeing someone else so I could make the choice wether to keep seeing him or not? Help me out I have never been in this situation....By the way i am not a teenager...i'd love to hear what some more mature guys think

It may very well be that he was not ready for a serious commitment, for this reason he did not want to say anything that would put him in that position. There is a good chance that he did like you but again....he may have commitment issues....dont worry it has nothing to do with you in this case. Most of the time men will let you know within the first couple of months if they like you and want a relationship or not. The time you guys were together should have been enough time for him to figure that out. So dont worry....be glad you left him....he may have not been worth it anyways.

Oh he was interested alright. He was only dating you because you were having sex with him, now he's found someone else or he is looking. He obviously doesn't want to give you an explaination of anything. The only thing he cared about was getting some booty, and it looks like he still does, just not from you. Or he has you on the reserve list.
You say that you "never put yourself out there so you wouldn't get hurt, but it sure sounds like you might be. Maybe not crushed, but enough to ask the world about it?
Be a smart woman and loose this jerk.

I think he liked you and thought he was ready to have a serious relationship. Then when you didnt really show much interest, he may have thought it a waste of time and effort since the feeling wasnt the same. Maybe you should make the first move and see how it goes.

Best thing that I think you can do is ask him about the relationship and where he wants it to go because there could be many reason why things are that way for ex. afraid to get hurt, wanting to be friends, afraid to hurt you, not really knowing how to express himself and etc. Also I consider all relationships meaningful. I did that with my bf I wasn't sure I had THE FEELING for him so I didn't tell him how I felt about our relaitonship. Even though he always told me how he felt. For me the time wasn't right but now, 2yrs down the road and we are on the verge of getting hitched. So hang in there and wait it out until he's fine witht he relationship. Good luck!!!
