How about something like where you got him/her? Found our cat in a storm drain as an abandoned kitten so we called her Storm, helps that she's black and causes as much damage as a storm.
Or maybe Thor, god of thunder. Eiress -goddess of Chaos...?

LOL those are atypical, yet canines dont care what you call them as long as you're consistant. there's a dalmation on the dogs park named Dammit No yet feels like Domino once you're saying it rapid, yet another one named Pib (soreness in butt).

my dog is named after a character from a video game. characters from books, authors, and musicians you like are also good sources for names (particularly if they're unusual). i also really like animals with regular people names, but maybe that's just me.
