Yes it probably is dry scalp and the more you use the Head & Shoulders, the more it dries it out. Try using a regular shampoo for a while. My hairdresser told me to buy a shampoo that looks creamy instead of clear and not one with a conditioner included. It does not matter if it is cheap shampoo or expensive, both work the same. The creamy shampoo has moisturizers in it that help with the dry scalp. Take the top off the shampoos in the store and squeeze a little bit up so you can see it and make sure it is creamy looking like lotion. I buy the Suave cheap stuff and my head does not itch or flake anymore. Try it, you have nothing to lose but the flakes.

DANDRUFF/SCALP DISORDERS/oil of oregano

Take a bottle of approximately 8 ozs of ANY shampoo. Pour entire contents into a glass bowl. Add 10 to 20 drops of Oil of Oregano to your shampoo. Mix thoroughly with a metal spoon. Pour mixture back into shampoo bottle. Shampoo normally, allowing the lather to sit on your hair for a few minutes, then rinse. DO NOT GET IN EYES!
****You can buy oil of oregano at any health food store or G.N.C.

You might have psoriasis, a condition where the skin sloughs off cells too fast. Psoriasis is an autoimmune disease and requires a medical professional to manage it. Ask your general doctor for a referral to a specialist.
