I'm a teenager and I just got out of a 6-month relationship with this guy who i loved more than life itself. We knew each other from inside and out, and I've never met an individual who was able to understand me as much as he did. Does this excruciating pain ever stop?

In my experience you will always love the true loves forever no matter what. But I believe you can have several true loves if you can understand that each true love will feel different but just as good as the one before. You will not feel the exact same again but in some ways it may be better than the last true love and in other ways not as good. Most importantly, be open to new love and don't compare the new love to the old love cuz that ruins things.

Yes. The pain will stop. I promise you.

I don't believe in ONE LIFE ONE LOVE. But I do believe in ONE LIFE ONE SOULMATE. Loves come and go. The soulmate is the one that sticks with you... the one you marry... the one you grow old with.

Don't worry okay? Everything will be alright. You're still young.
God has a plan for you. He will bring you the one in His time.
Just have faith in Him.

It stops - you get over it. Then you meet someone new and get hurt all over again. Repeat several times until you are older and finally get married.

You were too dependent on him. If you had prioritized yourself above him, you wouldn't be feeling this way. I believe in one (single) life and many (platonic) loves.
