My Dad and brother both shave, but it is because it cuts back on the body odor. Our family has a really strong BO. And deodorant breaks out our skin. I can't wear deodorant either.

It depends on the guy....my husband does - but only because he feels like it cuts back on how much he perspires and smells [he's one of those who REFUSES to wear deoderant]. I think it's up to the individual.
