I know that men (probably !) have feelings, but do they have the same intense feelings and emotions as women? If a man really likes a girl, really enjoys spending time with her etc, will he think about her constantly, and feel a strong emotional connection like most women do? or is this mainly eclipsed by more sexual feelings?

Thank you for comments

Men are humans too u know! Yes we have feelings, some dont show it, some do...I feel everything you mentioned there about this girl and its a strong feeling..its cause I love her. If a guy doesnt show feelings its prob cause he has none for u.

I don't know how intense feelings of women are but when I have fallin in love with a girl, I have overwelming feelings for her. I often can't concentrate on anything else because I'm thinking about her all the time, and feel a strong emotional connection to her. I always want to know how shes doing, what she's thinking... etc. I always want to spend as much time as possible with her. Sometimes the feelings are sexual in nature but definitely not most of the time, and the sexual feelings in no way eclipse the emotional ones.

Of course a man has feelings. If a man really likes a girl, really enjoys spending time with her ,thinks about her constantly, and feel a strong emotional connection with her . he will have intense feeling for her, but of course not if the footie is on as it is far more important.

no i've always had those strong feelings like that. sexual feelings never had the same intensity, longing, and desire than romantic feelings do. i don't know what it is about me.

now of course those feelings can come and go as they please; once you actually are with someone sexually they may not last, and you may eventually realize that those feelings aren't what you thought that they were. on some level, i think those feelings are creative enough, and intelligent enough, to mask other desires, such as that for sex, or friendship or empathy of some other sort. but no there are guys that experience those feelings, in that way.

if those feelings are "eclipsed", as you'd say, by sexual feelings, then quite honestly, that is the type of relationship that we're dealing with, not a romantic one. and of course it is easy to have the sexual feelings without the romantic connection, although again, for myself it's hard to have one without the other.

Yeah men do have feelings just like girls. If a man loves a girl and he's in love with her, he will think about her constantly and he keeps in mind all the beautiful things they did together. He will plan the next steps so that both of them will get happier together. I also think that his feelings will be both emotional and sexual ones.

I can only speak for myself, but when you're with someone you *truly* love, that whole 'sexual predator' thing just becomes irrelevant - it's like someone turning a big power switch off in your brain. And yes, you have a complete emotional connection, total and utter love and devotion.

I'm sure I'm not the only guy who thinks like this. Poets up and down for centuries have spoken of love's great power. Not all men are bastards, honest. :)

I think they have feelings. In fact, I'm suire they do. Difference is, its not as easy for them to show, for lots of reasons. They may feel awkward, and the fact is they face humiliation. Society has taught men not to show feelings, so that's what most of them do. If a man becomes emotional, its abnormal, and people tend to be very unaccepting of anything that deviates from society set of norms. So although i'm certain they feel emotions as strongly as women, its harder for men to show them.

this is how i portray my feelings for my fiance and bearing in mind i am a bloke not a suave sophisticated new man type. if i suggest we go out for a drink, we could always walk by the river on the way to the bar even if its out of the way. when i make dinner yeah it's nothing fancy but its set out all pretty and delicately presented. she knows i'm never going to race down a hill toward her on a white charger, but even a small thing can mean a lot and we always hold hands even if its walking to the local shops. i've known a lot of cold and heartless people in my time but you should allways show appreciation for the one you love even if it means putting the bins out when its their turn.

Yes a man can have such feelings. For a while. Then the primordial urge to spread his seed wider takes over and he's off hunting for mates again.

of course men have feelings.

its just that most are more interested in sex and trying to look like a man then actually stopping and having a full on relationship with someone.
