They are both excellent fighters, but here is their second fight broken down....

This fight is similar to Chuck Liddel's LAST fight with Renato Sobral in the sense that Tito Ortiz needs to take Chuck down in order to utilized his best weapon, the ground and pound. Tito is well rounded athlete, but his expertise lies in dropping elbows on a downed opponent. Chuck Liddel is much better at standup striking than Tito Ortiz, and Chuck also has a PHENOMENAL sprawl, which is just a wrestling takedown defense. Considering the fact that Ortiz may have alot of trouble trying to get Liddel down on the mat, he will most likely be forced to stand and trade with Chuck Liddel once again.
Tito definetly has a punchers CHANCE against Chuck Liddel, and its possible for him to PUNCH Chuck down with a good shot, setting up for a ground and pound TKO finish. Since Tito is a strong powerful kid, this is a possibility. But its a slim possibility considering Chuck's expert striking skill.
Chuck Liddel is definetly not intimidated by Ortiz and he will be going into this fight unshaken, considering the fact that he IS the champion and he is also coming off of multiple wins in a row. In fact, Chuck Liddel hasnt been defeated since UFC 43: Meltdown, when he was overmatched by Randy Coutore. This is 22 events later without a defeat for Liddel; he HAS to be feeling confident.
Ortiz is also coming off of multiple wins in a row and his last loss was at UFC 47 to Chuck Liddel by knockout. Ortiz wasn't looking too impressive in his fight against Forrest Griffin, he barely got the split decision, and his back to back victories over Ken Shamrock were a given, and they are nothing to brag about. Psychologically, I think Chuck Liddel has the edge, but BOTH of these fighters will be going into this fight extremely confident, and without the burden of feeling afraid. Tito was a little shook-up going into his first bout with Chuck, fear wont be a factor this time.
Even though Chuck's got the mental edge, Tito Ortiz has definetly got VENGEANCE going for him, which means that he is going to be a hungry, angry, determined, and fearless Tito Ortiz when he fights Chuck. I think this one is easy to call. Chuck Liddel is an expert at what he does, he is extremely composed, and he is at the top of his game right now. He will knock this young man out brutally, one more time.

It's gotta be Chuck.

I noticed they were trying to build up Ortiz for the next card by saying he's won his last 5 matches in a row. But think about it. 3 of those were to Ken Shamrock!

I think Chuck will put ol' Tito away again in December.

Liddell is a master striker, where as Tito fights like a neanderthal, trying to ground and pound people like an ape. He has showed virtually no submission skills. Considering Liddell already messed him up you have to say Liddell is better until Tito proves otherwise.

Who's the Champ!?
Chuck is! So how could Tito be the better fighter?

I don't think its as easy to say who is a better fighter.

Has Ortis come a LONG way to get back to a title shot, sure. but someone of the people he has beaten are not too impressive. Chuck on the other hand is quiet about his skill, until someone challenges him. Unlike ortis who runs his mouth.

I see Chuck winning this one again.... Hill-billy-haymaker!
