You can't be too sure because she may remind him of someone he once knew even your mom. Try not to jump to conclusions your dad might just be worried and that is kind. Try to ask your dad his reasons and tell him that it worries you because she is young and you don't want to see him get hurt. Also tell him because you are worried about how similar you and her are in age. Take care dear and don't worry, maybe it is not what you think.

Probably innocent. Sounds like either he wants to feel attractive or wants to feel needed. Maybe just needs to be reminded that his own family value and love him and need him!
