put in for the last six months and roots are grown out.I have med brown hair .If i dye it close to my natural color will it be blotchy and different colors?

Btw some of the"natural highlights" are blonde or copper
Someone told me i could make my hair green if i try to dye it but i don't think that will happen.

Hey avatar twin!!!
Well..IDK how you can get "natural" highlights if they aren't there naturally..but...I've had personal experience with dying highlighted hair...youre highlights might show through a little (it might be slightly lighter in some places) But it doesn't look bad, it won't turn green or anything.
If you choose to do this make sure you CONDITION CONDITION CONDTION
I cannot stress this enough... if you don't you will end up with DRY DAMAGED HAIR.
Be careful with box dyes, salon is always best!!!
Well good luck with your hair, I can tell you beyond a shadow of a doubt your hair wont turn green, purple, orange, red or blue..unless you want it to.
Good Luck!!!

if you have natural highlights and dye your hair correctly the highlights should kinda stay...they will be darker no doubt if you dye darker but lighter if you go lighted...if you have long hair i would recommend buying two bottles instead of just one..make sure you completely soak your hair in the dye it will come out blotchy only if you miss spots...so put on some crappy clothes and dye away make sure your hair is soaked in the dye!!!!!!!! and always use the whole container!!!!! it doesnt hurt to have more than less ive been doing my hair darker and lighter for years... good luck

the only way i think hair seems to turn green is if you go super super bleach blonde and jump in a swimming pool of chlorine. that might make anybody green...hahah! you may find some blotchiness of color, usually darker is ok though, however it should be significantly darker not to notice as much.

yeah. those hairs are literally lighter, and non everlasting dye esentually rinses out, so the organic shade gets back the possible way it substitute into. Having organic highlights certainly supplies your extra suitable tones in dyed hair too! (important +)
