i know a guy that wants to feel free,live like a bachelor,go out alone ,sleeps with many different women but maintains a four year serious relationship with a lady who lives in another city and goes to c her every weekend and spends holidays and special events only with her.The question is,if the guy wants to feel free how can he be in a relationship?is that sm that he claims to want but doesnt actually believe it?

Fact from fiction, truth from diction. This man you speak does not want to go totally alone. He had the long term woman same as you would have an insurance policy. with her he knows that he will have SOMEONE there for the so-called special times. He don't have to probe around and hope he finds some one free. Serious relationship? I doubt it. I suspect he knows in his heart he doesn't truly love her even though me may care for her a lot. But not to the point where he considers her feelings should she discover his other girls, and feeling like a fool because of it. He does not love her enough to put himself in her shoes and know he would not like it if she was doing it to him. He basically lacks maturity and want to have the cake and eat it all too. Then again, maybe she knows and just allow it because she feels she need him more than being a lone. that happens also.

He has his cake and can eat it too. He has the stability of a relationship, and he can have his fun on the side. It's the ideal situation for a guy. Like, whenever he is lonely he has his girlfriend he can hang out with, and on holidays he spends with her so he knows he always has that steady date. She is predictable and it is comfortable. But of course for a guy sex with one girl gets boring so that's why he has sex with others. I can't believe she is putting up with that, personally, maybe she is okay with it or maybe she has low self-esteem and doesn't think she deserves better.

The relationship hes in cant be serious to begin with if hes sleeping with everyone. And i guarantee she doesnt know what hes doing and thats why they are still together. Do you really think she would put up with that kind of ****? He sounds like a loser to me.
