I asked how long I should wait befor asking the girl I've liked since childhood out after she brok up with her boyfriend and I waited 2weeks but when I asked her out for lunch she said she's not looking for another relationship right now and I said thats cool how bout just lunch as friends and she said no I'm not ready yet I said ok how bout we just chat like friends do still a no go.Does that mean she doesn't see me that way or she just isn't ready for male interaction period?I don't want to pressure her but I don't want some other guy to get her and not have a chance again any info or advice would be great.

It is probably her way of nicely telling you she isn't interested. You could try putting it out there once more, but if she still turns you down its time to move on...
Maybe you could talk to her about "another girl you're interested in" and see how she reacts. If she is into talking to you about it, and offers advice, then she just wants to be your friend. If she seems uncomfortable or jealous, then you might have a shot still and should give her some time to get over the breakup...

She knows you are looking for more than friends, and how do you convince her that you just want to be friends when you are looking to be more. 1. Stop lying to her she reads you like a book. 2. You have known her since childhood be her friend first, get her to talk to you. 3. Let things take a natural course just be yourself.
