workout methods...crunches works our your abs...it is when you lay on the ground cross your hands over your chest and bring your upper body up to your bent legs. Leg lifts is a broad term that can mean a variety of workouts that have to do with placing weight on your legs and lifting them up.

There are many crunches, but the basic is when you lie on you back and knees bent 90 degrees with your feet on the ground, you lift your shoulders off the ground so to perform a 1/4 or 1/2 of a sit-up. Leg lifts again be done many ways such as lying on the floor and lifting your legs straight up to a 45 degree angle either single leg or double.

I'm afraid thereis is describing sit-ups. Crunches as he said except your feet and shoulder just leave the floor 2 to 3 inches.

leg lifts lay flat hands behind head legs straight, lift feet from floor keeping legs straight about 6 inches hold, lower as this is more of an isometric excerise the longer you hold the better

Crunches are like situps except you keep your back straight and just raise your torso a few inches off the ground - sort of like an uncompleted situps. Leg lifts are when you stand or lie down and lift your leg up and down over and over - works your leg and hip muscles.
