enlist if you have no degree.
If you have no HS Diploma, then you may want to consider one of two options. Get a HS Diploma, or get your GED.
The GED will help, but it is still no gaurantee. Scoring high on the ASVAB will help as well, but a HS Diploma would be the best route. They do make study guides for the ASVAB, check your local bookstore or library.
I would check with my local recruiter. If they want you bad enough, they will help you get started in the right direction.

Who says you must have a degree to join?
There are many officer careers in the Army available without a tertiary qualification through the Royal Military College of, Duntroon (Australia). These include Infantry Officer, Catering Officer and Pilot, to name a few. Talk to a defence recruiter and they will help you decide on some of the job options avaliable to you on 13 19 01.

It is going to be harder for you to join than somebody with a HS diploma. You will be considered to be a 'non-quality' applicant and you will need really high ASVAB scores before you can be accepted. And even if you get high ASVAB scores you may have to wait because they are only allowed a very small percentage of people with GEDs.

Youll have to go through the enlisted ranks for sure. When you get high enough in rank (E-8 OR E-9) look in to the OCS program where you can go from enlisted to officer. You will have to go through college to be accepted.

See your local recruiter for whatever branch of the military that takes people with no spelling or grammar skills.
