I love him so much but for some odd reason he doesn't seem to understand how i feel. He just doesn't believe me at all.

if he does not believe you then you have problems --- you dont have to prove to him --- he has to prove to you how much he cares

Well I think that he knows that you love him but he is afraid that you might hurt him AKA (break his ego) but when it comes down to real love pain should not be factor to hold him back. If you think this is the man that you are going to marry then make him tell you how he feels.

What he is trying to do is distance himself from you, so you break up with him, men (teen boys) have been doing this for years
