Problems with video?

I recently recieved a .mov file and it does not play in Media player or quicktime player. I tried to convert it but did not succeed. I have the latest quicktime and codecs. Can anyone help me?

Download Divx. I had this same problem because i wanted
to watch The Boondocks but it wouldnt play so this works

in downloads.com you can download xvid after that on the same page download divx trust me it will convert your file so you can view it.and if that just in case dont work get avs editor that will do the trick.
