because men never know exactly what they want, sometimes we as women have to help them out in that thinking process because they may just hurt themselves if they try too hard. Also, you may want to give him a taste of his own medicine just to let him know how it feels. It's not being immature it's called "treating people how They treat you" nobody can expect someone to continue to be nice to them if they continue to act like an a**hole. So let him know how you feel if in fact you don't see an improvement then perhaps you need to make a change because I'm sure you deserve much better than you are receiving, and true enough you can do much better.Let me know how it turns out OK? NOT a good sign.. u need to read thru the lines on this one... sure, there may be a reason, blah blah blah..but the plain truth of the matter is he's NOT treating you well, the way you NEED him too. u have a valid reason to be unsure now! it's his fault too, cuz he's acting hot and cold, SAYING he's missing you, but ACTING indifferent.. this is not good.
if i were u, i'd say that i don't need a boyfriend that makes me feel uncared for... the fact that he is acting strange shows that he doesn't know how to take care of you. either communicate and learn to talk to eachother, or let him go... so that u can find someone who makes u feel safe, secure and Happy, and he can find someone that he shows more attention to. good luck

OK, this is going to be harsh, so I'll apologize in advance: He's trying to get you to break up with him so he doesn't have to break up with you first. He is saying he still wants to see you because he is too chicken to tell you that you're just not doing it for him anymore. Also, he knows deep down that if he breaks up with you, he may not get a shot at another girl for a long time, and he wants to keep you around so he won't have nobody. Do the both of you a favor and break it off with him. He'll be relieved and you'll be free to find someone who loves you how you deserve to be loved.

At least he has told you that he wants to come see you and that he likes you. Maybe he is just protecting himself from getting hurt. I have let go of my bf because he would act just like yours except that mine wanted for me to go see him a thousand miles away and would only tell me he loved me when he felt like it. I did tell him that we needed to talk and that was to break it up and tell him because of him being so indifferent. Guess what? He never called me again or even tried to see me, so I guess it is over. It has been a whole week that I don't hear from him, I really miss him, but I decided to let time heal my broken heart and for him to fall in love with someone who is going to treat him like crap.
You have a chance to talk to your bf, let him know how you feel - like I said, at least you can see him and talk to him. Good luck.

Ugh, don't you hate that?! Your boyfriend probably has something on his mind, and he is taking it out on your relationship. Try talking to him about it, and see if you can identify the root of the problem.
It is possible, though, that he is acting this way because he is thinking about breaking up. If it seems like this might be the case, you should ask him directly...

Seems like your boyfriend doesn't care about your feelings. Some would be insensitive to anothers feelings because it makes them feel stronger. If he does this repeatedly I would recommend just leaving him alone, let him find someone else to be cold to, you don't need that. No one does.

What is he doing or saying that you think is "cold"? Just because he doesn't spend every waking moment with you or hanging on you every second doesn't mean he doesn't care. Men have "cycles", different moods, just as women do.
