He is not being honest with you. He has a girlfriend. When he messages you just don't answer him.

Hello there, First of all, I would like to thank everybody for their answers to you. I agree with them all. If someone loves another person, then there is no barrier. Then, why does he live with her???
So, if he likes or loves you, ask him to move out and live alone for a period then you will see, which he won't do. So, forget him and do with our advice.
Another advice about the US, cause I am here for years . It's just like every other place, where nice and nasty people exist, serious and players. Just use your common sense . Alson as a woman be careful before you give your heart to someone. Godd luck.

Friends allow friends to chat on the phone with people who are their gender(sex) and of the opposite gender and don't get upset.

This guy comes across as not having a mere "roommate", but is hiding something behind his request. He sounds deceitful to you to tell you that his roommate doesn't like him to get phone calls.

I believe that he has either a girlfriend or wife sharing housing with him, not just a mere female friend. Handle him with extreme caution!

If he can't talk to you when she's home, obviously she's more than a roommate. Forget him and look for someone who is not attached.

If you think something is wrong here, it probably is. Go with your gut feeling.

Welcome to America. Have a nice day.

There should not be any reason why he can't talk to you when his roommate is there. Whether friends are girls or boys, they don't care if you talk to someone else. He must be in a much more serious relationship with her. I would not get involved with him. You will just get hurt.

ithink its quite normal what you are going through. The guy may genuinely like you instead of the other roommate hence you have to be carerful just incase you may hurt the other party..Give it a bit more time and everything will be clear..Ques to consider are..why doesnt he talk to you when the other party is there..thats fishy..

He is a loser sweetie. He is probably married to the young lady and trying to get his freak on too,. He is lying now and will continue to lie. He will only hurt you this Casanova, tell him what American girls tell jerks like him, "*** off"

Umm, sounds like that roomate is his girlfriend. Other wise there would be no need for secrecy. Leave this guy alone. He's taking advantage of you.

if he cannot talk to you when his "roommate" is home, it's not a roommate. find someone else. He's trying to have more fun than he should and a lot of people are going to be hurt.

It sounds kind of sneeky to me. I don't think this guy is telling the truth. I say, go on to the next guy in line!
