Here's the deal. I had a huge crush on this guy for ages and then friday I told him. He said he liked me back and now we're a couple.
The problem is my BFF liked him too. But neither of us told eachother we liked him. My BFF saw me and my new bf kissing in the hall today and she is mad. She started crying then screamed at me and called me names when I went into the bathroom to figure out what was wrong. Later today I heard her talking to our other friend saying that she hates me and she is going to spread this nasty rumor about me. What should I do?

first off, tell ur B/F what happened, and explain that you really need to talk to your friend and maybe spend some time with her. Pull her aside after class or invite her to your house so you can talk things over and mend any harm done between you two. But dont put it off.

If you REALLY didnt know that she liked this boy then you did nothing wrong.
If this is true, then she really isnt a very good friend. In this situation a real friend would be sad for her & happy for you.
If she is spreading rumors just go with the flow. Whatever you do DON'T talk bad about her. This way everyone will see that while she is being mean you are not. This may be tough, but trust me keeping your mouth shut is the best way to go.
Don't break up with this boy if you REALLY DID NOT know that your friend liked him. Dont break up with this boy either way
cuz she'll just go after him. What is done is done.

It is hard to know what to do. The best you can do is try to talk to her about how you didn't know that she liked him. After that all you can do is wait until she calms down. Hopefully she'll come to her senses and know there was no way you could've known she liked him too. Unless you feel it totally necessary don't break up with your new boyfriend. That might even make matters worse.

YOU SHOULD TALK TO HER AND TELL HER WHAT IS GOING ON, AND IF SHE STILL DECIDES TO SPREAD THE ROOMER THEN TO VISE VERSA TO HER, SPREAD A ROOMER ABOUT HER BUT ONE THAT IS MEANER!
