Is rape a justifiable form of punishment?

Ex: In certain parts of Pakistan and much of Africa, this is tolerated.

I'd like to point out this question is not limited to women, if men committed a serious crime, they should get raped but by a woman. [It's only fair, if men do women, women do men] Kind of what happens in a state penitentiary. Nobody truly likes getting violated without consent so if this was passed through our legislature then people would think twice before doing something terrible, eg. killing.

Your thoughts?

In my opinion one should get what they give, i.e., you shoot someone, you get shot.

I dislike this question no one should be raped. Period. End of sentence

I know first hand what its like to be raped, but id never rape someone back.

I wouldnt wish it on anyone I disliked. Not a fair punishment at all. People who rape are just descusting sicko's

Punishment is not like math. Two wrongs do not make it right. Violence does not solve social ills. I like the teachings of a man who suffered punishment and leaned from it the value of love, compassion, forgiveness, and peace--The 14th Dalai Lama of Tibet.

no it is not...rape is way too far too personal...it should not be legal much-less for a justified punishment
