You may not like it - but stay with 7. Technology is changing.... Vista will have IE 7 built in it and very soon it will become a Windows Update......

It's growing pains. I don't like it either - but..... you can opt to turn off tabs and make it act a little different. Pick around.

This gets asked a dozen times daily. IE 7 is a mess! Go into Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs and click on the Show Updates box at the top. When the list completes, find IE 7 and uninstall it. Restart your computer and IE 6 will be back.

To uninstall Internet Explorer 7 to return to Internet Explorer 6 on Windows XP

Click "Start," and then click "Control Panel."
Click "Add or Remove Programs."
Check "Show Updates" at the top of the dialog box.
Scroll down the list and highlight the version of Internet Explorer 7 that you are running, and then click "Change/Remove."
Uninstall that,restart your PC and you are on IE6
