I'm a teenager like you,and believe me, you have all the time in the world to find a guy. You are thirteen, theres no way the two of you would grow up and marry each other, so why put so much time and energy into something that is only temporary?

I would say "Hi" to him. That is a conversation starter.
Go from there, but also remember that 12 & 13 is a big young
to be having boyfriend/ girlfriend.
Try being friends with him first and see what, if anything, happens.

There is nothing wrong with a girl dating a guy that is younger than her, especially if it's just a year and especially if he's really cute. Start talking to him and when you feel the time is right, and you still like him take the relationship to wherever you feel is right.

If you like him and you think he likes you then go for him. If you are worried about the age and afraid what people will think of you don't worry about it. Don't let that bother you age doesn't matter with you yours is all right.
