Is it okay to scruff cats. Tried it on mine once & she got a bit upset?

Well, it's fine on tiny kittens if you're a mummy cat because they're so small and the mother is so gentle, but a fully grown cat..? You can't support the weight of a fully grown kitty, or even a halfgrown one by the scruff of its neck without causing some serious distress. If you tried it on a cat at the weight mine is, she'd probably fall out of her skin through her bum...

I've always played with my cats like they were dogs and they love it. They can get a little roudy but they always want more. It just riles them up when they need it I guess.
