I have a fluctuating low blood pressure and i suffer from migraine, in which i lose vision in my left eye. I have been told that i have an alcohol intollerance and that i should just not drink. The last time i had one drink i collapsed and spend 2 days in bed with a hangover. I am only 36 surely this is not normal !!! the doctors do not know what to do with me... someone please help !!!!

If you are not hungover right now and are considering drinking again, please refrain. Who knows what is wrong with you, but you dont need to see how bad things can get by continuing to drink.

Why would the Dr.'s hv to do anything about this? For some reason u absolutely NEED to drink? If u were a teenager I would understand u were worried about not bn able to join in partying n such but at 36 surely u don't hv a problem with peer pressure? Ur soo much better off not drinking. U can definitely still hv fun with friends..especially after they r drunk n making fools of themselves.

This is a very easy thing to remedy. Your doctors are right - you shouldn't drink. Most likely you don't have the necessary enzyme to break down the alcohol. This is especially common in native Americans and Asians. You'll just have to not drink.

I mean, is it really that important?
